In recent years the club has enjoyed a number of success stories. See below.

In 2016 Staines men won the Thames Valley Double Fours competition beating Ashford in the final 44-34.

Staines also won the Fordbridge League.

We won the John Gardner Trophy beating teams from all over the area.
Also, John Smith won the Fordbridge 75 Points and the Fordbridge Men’s Singles.
Dot Stanners won the Middlesex Ladies Over 55’s.
Our ladies won the the Simes Trophy from Sunningdale (the first time in 19 years !)

In 2017 Staines won the John Gardner Trophy and the Thames Valley Double Rink.

In 2018 Dot Stanners was the South Middlesex League Ladies Championship winner.

In 2019 Dot Stanners took on the role of the President for Middlesex Bowling Association (Women's Section), and had a very successful year! Click the button to read a message from Dot about her Presidency.

Sunday 15th September 2019 was a special day for Wendy Ridley as she played Erica Ward in the finals of the South Middlesex League Ladies Championship, held at Bishop Duppas. After a nail biting session Wendy went on to win 21-17. Watched by supporters from Staines and other clubs she weathered a late comeback by Erica.
That’s two consecutive years a lady from Staines has won the championship, after Dot Stanners' win in 2018. Well done Wendy!

More success for the Ladies ... At the Middlesex Ladies Presentation dinner in October Rita Moore and and Dot Stanners received the runner-up trophy for the Ladies over 55's pairs, and Rita, Wendy Ridley (not shown) and Dot were runners-up in the County benevolent triples.
Trophies were presented by Hazel Markes, President of Bowls England.

We also collected the Middlesex Bannerette Certificate for beating the County in our centenary match.
