The first roll-up on the 26th April... Everyone glad to be outside again...
The first of 2 traditional fixtures for the Men vs Windsor Great Park took place on the 18th May, with Staines winning 59-53 in a very enjoyable evening's bowling!
The Tom McCarthy Trophy is a relaxed game played in casuals because Tom was a fairly relaxed guy. Chris Morrison won and received the trophy.
On the 16th July we held the annual Ladies v Men match. It was played this year over 4 rinks with a mixture of Triples and Pairs. It gives some of our newer bowlers the opportunity to take part.
In previous years the Men have won convincingly. This year not so much! The Ladies won on 3 rinks and the Men only just managed on overall score of 54 to the Ladies 50...
On the 23rd July it was another 10 point win in the SML against Sunbury Sports.
On the sunny afternoon of the 6th August we hosted our friends from Walton in an enjoyable match. It was a Staines win but the pleasure of bowling in such ideal conditions was the most important thing.
Presidents Day on 7th August given by President Dot was another chance to include all our bowlers including the new joiners on the green

On our away visit earlier in the season Knaphill had comprehensively trounced us and now at home on the 10th September we were able to return the favour somewhat by winning 77-43!
